These miniature-sized goats are a wonderful addition to
any farm! We have raised Registered pygmy goats for the past five years and the whole family
has been involved with raising and showing these fun, intelligent (and addictive!) little goats!
Because they are smaller in size than dairy and meat goats, they are easy to handle and have playful, loving personalities...providing
their owners with plenty of affection and entertainment!
Pygmy goats are easily trained and they enjoy learning new things. Showing
pygmies in local shows and 4-H events is a favorite pastime of ours and this breed has become very popular with goat-lovers
of all ages!!
The coat of a pygmy is full, with straight, medium-long
hair. Agoutis are dark goats ranging from silver-grey to black, and have solid stockings darker than
the main body color. Caramels are light goats ranging from white to light brown and have vertical stripes
on the front of dark stockings. Blacks are also common and have little, if any white areas.
